Updates to Applemorphic
posted in General/Administration |So it turns out that there are a few of you out there who may actually be reading Applemorphic (make a comment, wouldya?). I realized this when after completely rebuilding the site, I updated my FeedBurner account and found that a few of you have actually subscribed to my feed. Bully for you!
By now, you’ve no doubt noticed that Applemorphic has a completely new design, necessitated in part by the switch from TypePad to WordPress and in part by my lack of HTML and design abilities. The switch to WordPress was brought on by my change of host for several websites to the excellent TextDrive (a very Mac-friendly company, BTW). I suppose I could have installed MovableType, but like the open-source and free nature of WordPress. A big benefit of the change of hosts is all pages live on the Applemorphic domain without having to use domain masking, which I could never get to work on TypePad and NameSecure anyway.
I still have a few things to work out with this new design and the configuration of Applemorphic on WordPress, but I’m making progress. I hope to have things singing by January 2, just in time for Macworld 2007. Like the changes? Don’t like them? Let me know by posting a comment or sending me an email. And thanks for reading!
