Back in the Saddle
posted in General/Administration |When I launched Applemorphic in September of this year, I intended to build up a base of content and readers leading up to Macworld 2007. The annual conference draws so much attention and interest that it seemed a good time to launch an Apple related blog. But two things have happened in the meantime:
1. My wife and I had a baby. What was I thinking? With the normal work life, and now a new baby (our first), I have had little time to start a new venture.
2. I moved the blog from Typepad to WordPress as a part of a wholesale migration of multiple sites and applications to TextDrive. I’m not a programmer by any stretch, and luckily WordPress is pretty easy to configure and install. Still, I’ve had to do a lot more technical heavy lifting than I’m accustomed to.
So, here we are in December, just a few short weeks from Macworld, and Applemorphic has been dormant for a few weeks. No more! I’ll probably make a bunch of posts in a short period of time, then take a break over the holidays, and finally pick back up with heavy coverage before, during and after Macworld. Enjoy!
